露營煮白飯

城市人慣咗用電飯煲，露營時要明火煮飯有啲難咁，不過其實都不太難。

預水方面，要比電飯煲多少少，或者其實當係一樣亦可！有人怕太軟，又有人鍾意軟，所以難以定論！再者，唔同既米亦有分別，所以總意係跟電飯煲一樣，再稍稍加多少少！

若用 gas 爐加鋁製 cookset 呢，基本上煲滾水一陣，然後打開搞混佢，然後再滾返，跟住離火焗就掂晒！萬試萬靈... 離火期間再煮餸，掂晒！

若用 titanium cookset 呢，就千祈唔好用 gas 爐！要用酒精爐！

有人以為 titanium 傳熱快，所以唔可以太火，其實呢個諗法錯晒！事實上，鈦傳熱係慢！但鈦鍋做得比較薄，所以感覺以為佢傳熱快唧！另一方面，鈦煲傳熱慢，所以熱力集中某些位置，好快就燶，又俾到人錯覺！

所以 titanium 配酒精就好！因為火比較慢！

講返煮飯，titanium 因為做得薄所以快滾，所以用返 gas 爐加鋁 cookset 煮法啲米會唔透心！解決方法有兩個，基本上係異曲同功！方法一：預先浸耐啲先煮佢！方法二：煮完再焗耐啲！

記得屋企做吓實驗先！因為唔同既爐，唔同的 cookset 都有分別，大家必需要對自己既工具有啲認識，先會用得好！屋企試咗，再出郊外試就穩啲，費事去到露營先至無得食喇！

Camping season again soon

Temperature drops a bit, time let me re-think different sub-systems:

1. Packing: the back pack, food storage, cookset packing, rubbish bag, etc

This is so far the weakest link, need to fine tune or upgrade

The above is the latest addition, it is a 36L 1.02kg backpack.  This one will be reserved for hiking and camping trips.  For camping alone trips, I will go back to my 75L backpack which is more than two times heavier.

2. Sleeping: the tent, sleeping bag, sleep pad, pillow, the pump, etc

Completed, not much room to improve.

3. Cooking/eating: stove, fuel, bowl, pot, cup, etc

Wind shield is not the best for all-in-one stove, otherwise good enough.

Fry pan could be improved too.

4. Water: bottle, filter, water bag, etc

Completed.

5. Lighting: headlamp, LED ribbon, tent light, peg light?...

Completed, and these are the latest additions.

6. Power: battery pack for fan, mobile phone, light...

Completed.

7. Others: fan, fly, hammer ...

Completed.

Nitecore LR10 first impression

Call me crazy, I got another camping light.

It's a bit heavier than the Helio (42g) but its brighter and features a better battery.

It's slightly bigger too.

The Nitecore has no moving part and it feels more solid.  The Helio has a hinge joint which does not feel very strong.  Both of them couldn't be used while charging.  However, the Helio does allow turning on the light with direct supply from the USB port by opening the hinge joint.

The Nitecore has a wider spread of light, wider range.  The Helio is more focused but yet wide enough for most purpose.

I shall write a full review after trying them out more.  I shall also double check the battery issue of the Helio which I mentioned before.  Stay tuned.

Why one more?  I dunno...

Changing Toilet Seat 換厠所板 (淘寶)

其實之前換過一次，原身個厠所板係舊式，一方手就跌落嚟，又大聲，又容易爛，見淘寶有平貨，仲話係緩降型，即係放手唔會立即路落嚟，仲平過香港買好多，就買返嚟用，結果一用就幾年。

嗰塊確實係緩降版，但升都係緩升，意思係你拍返上去要用少少力，仲要 hold 多一陣，否則佢又會跌返落嚟，好煩。

過咗兩、三年後，佢仲唔緩降，但升卻繼續緩升，所以索性再換。

買廁板要度幾個呎吋，仲要知係方型、 U 型、還是 V 型，但其實好易分既唧，度就度以下既呎吋：

今次我買咗呢塊，都係幾十蚊，佢緩降但不緩升，一推上去放手就停低！咁之係嘛！

另外，後面有個快拆制，一推一拉就可以拆成件野出嚟，更方便徹底清潔！正！

Flextail Gear Max Pump Plus

My friend got the Max Pump and I placed it side by side for comparison.  The Max Pump is slightly smaller, but the Max Pump Plus is actually lighter.

兩兄弟放埋一齊，新版大少少，但又輕少少喎。

And as you can see, the Plus has a better interface for pumping air out.  This could be very handy.

另外入氣地方有個正式既接口，抽氣方便好多。

Other improvement include the switch, as well as the covered USB charging port... it's also more powerful.

此外，開關制都明顯改善了，而充電位亦有個蓋，廠方話防水咯，但氣泵又何需防水？舊版容易意外開著，個開關制都易跌出嚟，新版無咗呢啲問題

Once fully charged, the LED turns green from red.

充電慢到暈，說明書話六至八小時無誇張到！

The charging takes so long that my friend said he never saw it fully charged.  The manual states that it took six to eight hours and it is accurate from my experience.

The Plus comes with three interface adapters, and they are capable to match with all my devices at home.

新版有三個接口，連埋本身即係有四個，我屋企所有氣墊都夾到喎！

Pumping air in is very fast!  I didn't count but it could be less than or around one minutes.  It's noisy, and so, make sure you did it before sleeping time.

呢隻野相當堅，勁快，當然都大聲，我無正式計但一分鐘左右一定已經滿氣！

正因為佢好嘈，所以建議一起營就泵氣喇，咪等夜媽媽瞓先嘈住人！

Finally, this pump holds it charge pretty well... unlike the Helio light from the same vendor.

最後呢個泵仔舊電唔錯，差滿咗唔會好似同系既 Helio營燈咁，充滿電之後幾日就自動無晒電咯

水袋背囊

最近身痕買咗個，呢種袋好貼身，通常都唔太大，方便跑山用，原來諗住去紅石門，但結果只係行頹山。

我平時飲水唔多，但用咗呢種袋呢，因為方便隨時可以飲，結果就飲多咗水。

我行山多只帶一個包，一支飲品，水同埋可能帶多包即食糖水之類，剛好都仲塞得落。

行出杖要外掛，另外前面仲可以有位放手機，充電器，仲可以放多一 set 18650 俾芭蕉扇添！

不過銀包係唔知放邊好，仲有太陽眼鏡，帽... 外掛？買咗之後，先發現有啲有埋腰包功能，用爛咗先換！

淘寶平野，呢個水袋都算係最簡單，我諗住用埋佢嚟裝濾水器，露營用！買咗另一個有 28mm 接口既水袋入溪水，然後經 filter 之後，再經條軟喉駁入呢個水袋，等佢慢慢漏過去。

揹帶前兩邊都有袋，有拉鍊可以放手機，另外有個網袋可以放多兩支水，或者其他雜物。 我就一邊放手機，網袋放充電器，額外電池供替換。

另一邊放鎖匙，同埋一支飲品。

大格夠放水袋，仲有少量食物，都夠晒行十個鐘。
